Parquet installation is done by gluing to the floor covering, usually with two-component PU (poly-urethane) or one-component elastic (flexible) adhesives based on MS-polymer (modified silanes). The use of water-based glue for multi-layered parquet is not recommended, as it can lead to &#8220;swelling&#8221; of the parquet due to the absorption of water from the glue. During installation, it is very important to promptly remove the remains of the glue that have reached the surface of the parquet. After installation, the parquet is cleaned of dirt and coated with suitable agents based on parquet wax for additional protection (closing the pores between the parquet planks) and achieving gloss on varnished surfaces.
