Varnished parquet is easier to maintain and care for than oiled parquet. Oil is considered a more natural coating since it is based on natural oils and is therefore healthier. Oiled parquet requires more care and maintenance &#8211; it should be periodically treated with protective oil every 1.5-2 years, depending on the frequency of the space.  <\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;\">The repair of damaged varnished parquet usually requires major interventions (sanding and varnishing of the entire surface of the parquet), while oiled parquet can be repaired quite simply and &#8220;painlessly&#8221; by additional oiling).<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;\">Multi-layered and massive parquets of our production can be ordered for delivery also as raw\/sanded, i.e. prepared for manual coating, which gives the customer the option of individually choosing a coating (e.g. high-gloss varnish) and treating the parquet (e.g. staining with a color that is not in our standard offer).  <\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Varnish is considered a better means of protecting the wooden surface than oil, however, this is a popular opinion that is not entirely true.
